Leigh Ann Sayen – Managing Director


Leigh Ann has been with P.E.T. since its inception in 2002 and with her technical background has been instrumental in the growth of P.E.T. in both product development and technical sales capacities.

Leigh Ann has led P.E.T., in its quest to identify new technologies and ingredients that are truly "ahead of the curve" in pet food applications of all kinds. Her activities have been global in scope, utilizing P.E.T.'S contacts in Uruguay, Brazil, France, Scotland and Norway.

She holds a B.A. degree in Economics (Phi Beta Kappa) from Kalamazoo College post graduate work in Food Science at Michigan State University.

Cate Heafy-Rose, C.P.M.


Cate is very much at home in the corporate arena, with more than 20 years' experience in strategic sourcing, negotiations, materials management, regulatory compliance and process improvement. Her strong grasp of R&D and her negotiation skills have cut costs, improved inventory handling and increased quality for many of the giants in the food industry. Cate attended Rutgers University and studied business administration at Ramapo College in New Jersey.
